Revelation

11

1AND there was given to me a reed like a rod; and the angel stood, saying, Arise and anoint the temple of God and the altar and those who worship in there. 2But leave out the outer court of the temple, and do not anoint it; for it has been given to the Gentiles; and they will tread the holy city under foot for 42 months.

3Then I will give power to my 2 witnesses, and they will prophesy 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth. 4These are the 2 olive trees and the 2 candlesticks standing before the Lord of the earth. 5And if any man desires to harm them, fire will come out of their mouths and will consume their enemies; and if any man desires to harm them, he must in this manner be killed. 6These have power to control the sky, so that it will not rain in those days; and have power over waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7And when they have finished their testimony, the wild animal which ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them and will overcome them. 8And their dead bodies will be on the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was also crucified. 9And their dead bodies will be seen by the peoples and families and nations and tongues for 3 days and a 1/2, and it will not be permitted to bury their dead bodies in graves. 10And those who live on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry, and will send gifts to one another, because these 2 prophets tormented those who lived on the earth. 11And after 3 days and a 1/2 the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell on those who saw them. 12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying to them, Come up here. And they went up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies saw them. 13And at the same hour there was a great earthquake, and 1/10th part of the city fell, and the number of men killed in the earthquake was 7,000; and the survivors were frightened, and they gave glory to God.

14The 2nd woe is passed; and look, the 3rd woe comes quickly. 15And the 7th angel sounded, and there were great rumblings of thunders, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah; and he will reign forever and ever. 16And the 4 and 20 elders who sat before the throne of God on their seats fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17Saying, We give thanks to you, oh Lord God Almighty, who is and was, because you have taken to yourself your great power and have reigned. 18And the nations were angry, and your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and to reward your servants, the prophets, and the saints and those who revere your name, small and great; and to destroy those who corrupt the earth. 19And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his contract; and there were lightnings and thunderings and voices and an earthquake and a great hailstorm.
