13001-02-08 (2010-03-25): Netanyahu visits Obama
Israeli president Netanyahu visited US President Obama at the White House. The meeting was called a hazing over the essentially 3rd world treatment given Netanyahu by Obama and his thugs.
The US President basically ended decades of rock solid US support for Israel. He demanded enough concessions from Israel that it appeard to be an attempt to remove Netanyahu from office.
Obama was reported as coming across as ideological and vindictive, basically taking the Arab position against Israel. Obama basically told Israel that he would dictate peace terms to Israel over the Arab question.
Obama eventually left the meeting for a private dinner and told Netanyahu to call if there was anything new. It was a massive wave of humiliation directed at Israel.
Warning
The text of this plague is quite clear that an attack by Pharaoh on the Hebrews, the modern nation of Israel, will be met from God with a plague on Pharaoh's cattle.
Obama is Pharaoh, and this rebuke of Israel will be met in the fashion described. The previous time this text was seen in the Exodus series there was a general collapse of US financial companies, including AIG. This time the text is addressing nations because it is within the first-born plague series.
Financial Headlines
The Fitch rating service cut their bond ratings on Portugal to AA-. This significantly increases the risk of eventual defaults on government bonds issued by the country. In the report Greece was also expected to eventually default.
The US Treasury found tepid response in their attempts to sell 7 year notes at this date.
Second Health Care Vote
Also of note this date that there was a second health care vote that sailed through the US Senate and House. The headline made news because of Reid's gaffe, voting No instead of Yes. He did the same on Christmas Eve with the first vote in the Senate over Health Care.
