25And the hail struck throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and cattle; and the hail destroyed all the herbs of the field and broke every tree of the field.
26Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel lived, was there no hail.
Polish Presidential Plane Crash
On Saturday, April 10, 2010, at around 0656 GMT, an aircraft carrying the Polish President, along with his wife and roughly 80 other dignitaries, crashed on landing in Russia. All 96 people aboard were killed.
They were flying in from Warsaw to mark 70 years since the Katyn massacre of thousands of Poles by Soviet forces. The crash was 70 years to the day from that massacre.
This plague deals with fire from the sky, a match. The timing is early, though the week of mourning that was kicked off after this crash spans the prophetic date fine.
The exact timing matches the Russian day of mourning, and the start of the Polish week of mourning. Most of the bodies were taken to Moscow for identification, though the president's body was returned on April 11 to Poland. State funeral in Poland for the president was 1 week later.
The loss left the Polish government without an effective leadership, it was effectively decapitated.
The next day, a Polish MP would claim that Russia engineered the crash.
Primary evidence that the Polish government was deliberately taken out dealt with the independent nature of Poland. Low national debt and central bank independence being 2 key points.
