4And Moses said, Yahvah says, About midnight I will go forth into the middle of Egypt;
5and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt will die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne even to the firstborn of the female servant who sits behind the mill; and all the firstborn of the animals.
6And there will be a great wailing throughout all the land of Egypt, there has never been any like it, nor will there be any like it any longer.
7But of the children of Israel no one will be harmed, not even a dog will bark against man or animals; that you may know that Yahvah distinguishes between the Egyptians and Israel.
8And all your servants will come down to me and bow themselves down to me saying, Get out, both you and all the people that are with you; and after that I will go out. And Moses departed from the presence of Pharaoh in a great anger.
9And Yahvah said to Moses, Pharaoh will not listen to you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
10And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh; but Yahvah hardened Pharaoh's heart so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
