2009-01-13: Moses Leaves City, Hail Ends.

This date is basically an administrative date squeezed in between the Plague of Hail and the start of the winds that lead to locusts.

A careful read of the following text suggest the end of the previous plague of hail is marked by Moses leaving the city at some timed point after his visit with Pharaoh. In order to spot the fulfillment we must spot Moses leaving.

On January 13, 2009, Ban Ki Moon departed New York City for the Middle East, 30 days from the start of the plague of hail. This timing bounds the previous plague to 1 full month.

1 week later, January 20, 2009, Ban Ki Moon began his return to the city after leaving an Arab Summit meeting in Kuwait. At the same time as prophetic "Moses" began his return, George Bush departed the city, the White House, as a disgraced former president, another important departure from the city and another fulfillment for the general themes of leaving the city.

The following is the text and timing for this event, timing given is minimum, without observing Ban Ki Moon. Details on fulfillment follow below.

Background

When the Pope visited the United States in April, 2008 he held prophetic events that matched each of the dates across the year. This date, is the last inside biblical year 12,999 AA, so it still works within the year, though to the world it technically is in early 2009, at it looks like the year has ended.

For this date the Pope held a public farewell gathering in a hanger at JFK airport. When the brief meeting was over he boarded his plane and departed for home in Rome.

The text of this plague story focuses on leaving the city, a match to the departure of the Pope, and something that is likely to be a feature of the eventual fulfillment headline.

Also worth noting, United States Vice President Dick Cheney was the host of the meeting, not President George Bush who had initially received the Pope in Washington DC.

This Plague Date has an attendant Psalm 5 date. In that Psalm the departure of the Pope for the Vatican is seen.

General Fulfillment

The theoretical timing for this plague landed on January 5, 2009, but that timing is computed without watching for Ban Ki Moon's departure from New York City. The following fulfillment headlines are broken into 2 parts. The second set are based on or near January 13, 2009, when Mr. Ban departed New York City.

Freezing Temperatures and Gas Cut to Europe

The Russians, in a dispute with Ukraine over prices and fines, started cutting gas at January 1, 2009. The full cut off was several days later as the pressure in the pipes began to fall.

While the United States was returning to "normal" winter conditions at this date, the European continent was getting a cold arctic blast. More that 12 people would freeze to death in this cold snap. It did not help at all that a key source of heating was being cut that the same time. Numerous factories in eastern Europe had to shut down because there was no heat.

The gas would start flowing again, albeit slowly, when Moses departed the city, as per the prophetic text for this date which happened January 13, 2009. (See below.)

Bush on "No Child Left Behind"

The establishment of standardized testing was called "No Child Left Behind" but in fact it was a system that forced national conformity on educational standards. It basically made Egyptians of all children.

President Bush announced on January 5, 2009, that he would be traveling to Philadelphia on Thursday, January 8, 2008, to promote his now 7 year old No child left behind initiative.

This was nearly a direct quote from the Plague text dealing with not letting the children go. In general government run schools are Godless, so not letting them out, for whatever reason, is a match to not letting the children go from Egyptian clutches. (See vs. 35 above.)

Obama Arrives DC

President Elect Obama the future Pharaoh, arrived in Washington DC. The timing was to allow his daughters to start school on Monday, January 5, 2008. This timing caused Obama's first trip to Capital hill to land on the prophetic date, there were photo-ops with Pelosi and Obama. There was another pseudo-cabinet meeting, along with photo-ops. Details of Obama's planned $800B economic bailout were also revealed. Note that essentially all actions by government increase the risk of eventual government collapse. As Pharaoh Obama is moving the country towards the collapse of the United States, modern Prophetic Egypt. He has done various things of significance on nearly every date since January of 2007 when he announced his candidacy coincident with the replay of Moses at the Burning Bush. This time he was a day away from a key meeting at the White House. (See below.)

Others were arriving in Washington DC at the same date, it was the first Monday after the Christmas holidays. Burris and Franken, 2 disputed US Senators from the Democratic party made their first trips to Washington DC, declaring themselves the people's choice. Burris, of course, selected by the embattled Illinois governor, and Franken having stolen the election from his Republican opponent through recount fraud. A crooked election process is overwhelming the United States government.

Presidential Meeting

One of the open issues about the transition between Presidents is if the prophetic match to Pharaoh continues even with the transition between Bush and Obama. Bush was the "burning bush" and he has also been "Pharaoh" in a series of events over the past 2 years. Would this pattern now transfer to Obama, or is Obama different?

This question was answered on January 7, 2009, with a lunch requested by Barack Obama when he visited earlier. In the meeting they made clear that there was a continuity between the various holders of the office.

Bush said, "All of us who have served in this office understand that the office transcends the individual."

This is captured in part by the text of the plague, tell your son and your son's son. The presidential line of succession is being likened to the succession of kings in ancient Israel. (See Ch. 10 vs. 1 and following in the quote above.)

When asked what they intended to talk about Bush answered that he did not know, but that if they had nothing else to say, they would tell war stories. He was playing to the text of the plague, about telling future generations about what God has done.

This importantly confirms that the entire series should be considered Pharaoh, and that the earlier links of George Bush to Pharaoh apply across the line, both back and forward to Obama. God has specifically hardened the hearts of all these men so that God can show his wonders in Egypt.

An important footnote to the meeting is the backdrop for the group photos. This had been planned for outside on the White House lawns, but because of continued heavy rains the photo was taken inside. Rains were also continuing in the Pacific Northwest, another area impacted by the Plague of Hail. That these had not stopped 2 days after the expected prophetic date suggests they continue to the next candidate, which is January 20, 2009, the inauguration day.

Other January 5 Headlines

Bernie Madoff the man who made headlines at the start of the plague of hail, was in the news again. The government decided the $50 Billion cheat needed to be behind bars. The judge has yet to rule.

Reports for December Auto Sales were made public and we found that sales tanked across the entire industry, not just US manufacturers. The worse was Chrysler, with a 53 percent year-over-year decline. The effects of the recession have begun to take hold.

Israel encircled Gaza City with discussions about if the strategy should change to flattening villages where rockets are launched from. Several soldiers were killed by friendly fire. The invasion of Gaza City would begin on the day Moses departed New York City, January 13, 2009.

January 10: Citi Group Implodes

The headlines began on January 10, 2009, with word that Citigroup would be dismantled, though details of the plan were not fully worked out on that date. This was the end of many months of speculation that the bank would eventually fail.

This is another example where the name of the thing in the headlines matches the prophetic story. In this case the story hinges on Moses leaving the city. The key word here is City which is in the name of this financial institution too.

Of course this is what the Pope did on the matched prophetic date, he also left the city.

Nearly all of the headlines in the entire series of Exodus Plagues has involved a different type of financial services company. In this case one of the main banks in New York City failed.

Pay careful attention to the corporate logo. The umbrella is left over from the Travelers merger when the commercial bank absorbed the investment bank. This type of combination is what the regulations of the 1930s were trying to prevent, so that taxpayers through bank insurance schemes would not end up bailing out investment banks. The umbrella, though, also represents the basic theme of the Plague of Hail which is ending on this date. The plague of hail involves finding shelter from the storm, and listening to the counsel about the impending storm. The umbrella symbol this matches the plague.

January 13: Ban Ki Moon Departs for Middle East

The text of the plague says that the plague will continue until Moses departs the city. Moses is the General Secretary of the United Nations, Ban Ki Moon. Each time the prophetic story calls out Moses, it is Ban Ki Moon is the man who acts out that story.

In this case the story says the end of the Plague of Hail is marked by Moses' departure, and therefore it is Ban Ki Moons departure from New York City that marks the working end of the Plague of Hail.

Importantly, the plague began about December 13, 2008, so this plague has lasted almost exactly 1 month, consistent with most of the other plagues which were multiples of 30 days.

In remarks before his departure, Ban Ki Moon heard about the situation from UN workers in the Gaza region. Reports included details on water and sanitation, pointing out that most of the Gaza strips sewage system had stopped functioning. At least 2 Gaza towns had sewage flowing in the streets.

This is a remarkable match to the general flooding conditions in especially the western parts of Washington and Oregon that marked the January 5, 2009, start date for this phase in the plague series.

January 13: Gas begins Flowing

The row between the European Union and Russia over gas flows began to subside when limited gas began flowing again. There was still considerable bickering and it was not clear if it would resume full flow any time soon, but it did look like that might happen.

January 5-13: Alaska Temp Swing

Wide temperature improvements marked the January 5 date, which was essentially the bottom of the frigid temperatures in Alaska. With Moses' departure from the city the obvious thing to watch for is anywhere else that improves temperature wise. Such dramatic improvement in temps was found in Alaska, where there were swings approaching 100 degrees. The sudden warming caused freezing rain and thus a considerable number of car accidents. More than 100 reported in the Anchorage area alone. (Details here.)

This warming of Alaska was offset by the shift of arctic air to the south east, which engulfed Canada and parts of the US east coast.

January 13: US Air flight trouble

Passengers aboard flight 1546 from New York's Laguardia Airport bound for Charlotte, North Carolina later reported that they heard a loud bang on their flight. They also later reported that the pilot had said that they would be returning, but after some time the engine was restarted and a compressor was blamed for the failure. The flight continued uneventfully to Charlotte.

2 days later the same plane, on the same flight, would ditch in the Hudson river after birds were reported to have knocked out both engines. The fear, though, is that poor maintenance on a damaged engine made that engine more likely to go out the later bird strike.

January 15: US Air flight ditches in Hudson

In a virtual continuation of engine trouble from the 13th, the same US Air flight from Laguardia to Charlotte reportedly encountered a double bird strike and lost power north of Manhattan Island. Within minutes after take-off the plane made the first ever successful ditching of a passenger jet.

155 passengers and crew were safe after being rescued by commuter and tourist ferries along the Hudson River off Manhattan Island. The governor of New York State called it the Miracle on the Hudson."

Note that the Pope's final act, prophetic for this general date, was departure by plane from New York, though it was JFK where the Pope departed.

January 20: Ban Ki Moon Returns

After being in the Middle East for 7 days, Ban Ki Moon returned to New York City. He had made 14 different diplomatic visits around the region including making the first visit into Gaza by any head of state since Hamas took over control.

This trip, prophetic for Moses leaving the city, bounds the window for final fulfillment for this date, and it thus includes the Miracle on the Hudson ditching and it includes Bush's departure from the White House as Obama was sworn in on this date.

January 20: Obama sworn in as US President

This date marks the transition between Obama and Bush in the White House. The Swearing in of the new President happened at 12:00 Noon in Washington DC, which was apparently while Ban Ki Moon was still out of the country and likely still in the air on his return flight.

There was an important slip in the swearing in speech, where the chief justice of the Supreme Court slipped his lines. The key word that caused trouble was "faithfully." The term is religious, and likely to cause trouble for the incoming President.

Record numbers turned out for the event on the Washington Mall.

January 20: Gas flows to Europe begin again

Suspended at January 1, 2009, the Prime Ministers of Russia and the Ukraine had finally agreed to a price for gas sold to Ukraine and for transhipment of gas to eastern Europe. Reports indicated the gas was started at 07:30 GMT and would take as many as 36 hours to fully reach customers in Europe.
