2009-02-04: Plague of Wind

The start of the winds that bring the Locusts are not historically deemed a plague on Egypt, but the timing and the map from the Commandments suggests this should be considered a valid plague event. The matched commandment is "You shall not kill." The matched tribe is Levi.

Most of the narrative in the Exodus account for this date is a warning on what will come later, mostly Locusts.

Note that in the associated scripture for this date the very last verse in the quote starts with Moses stretching his rod across Egypt, which IS part of this date. The rest goes with dates future.

In Australia... The Winds of Fire

Beginning on the weekend of February 1, 2009, brush fires began breaking out in the Australian state of Victoria. On the Bible Calendar this was Selection Day and a clue that more would come in a few days. Though brush fires are expected in the heat of Australia's summer this year's fires would turn out to break many records.

Air temperatures reached over 115 degrees, so nearly all vegetation was tinder dry. This part of the country is also in 12 years of severe drought contributing to the dry conditions. Then, strong winds began to whip the fires up into raging infernos. The particular types of trees in many of the region's forests are also prone to emit embers when they burn.

The first weekend of fires was across the weekend of February 1, 2009. These fires were considered "normal" and did not attract much international media attention. Fires died down but continued across the week, straddling the expected prophetic date for this "Plague of Wind."

On the second weekend of these fires, conditions turned much worse. Severe, 65 MPH sustained winds provided plenty of oxygen to fan the flames and carry embers well ahead of advancing fire walls. Thousands of houses and 850 square miles of land north of Melbourne were destroyed.

The flames advanced so quickly that many people were killed trying to escape. Smoke blocked visibility causing numerous car crashes where people perished in their cars. Local hospitals received many burn patients and at least one hospital ran out of pain killers.

Reports also surfaced that at least some of the fires were deliberately set by arsonists. There had been earlier threats by Islamic groups that singled out Australia's forests for terrorist attack, though details of who may have set these fires and why remains unclear.

The Prime Minister of Australia called the fires "Hell on Earth" and if started by terrorists then "Mass Murder." By the end of the weekend death tolls were continuing to rise, with record death counts eventually reported, and many bodies expected to be discovered as the area is searched for remains.

Pointing Blame

Note that this plague date matches both the tribe of Levi and the commandment, "You shall not kill." The State of Victoria had liberalized abortion laws in 2008, and these fire are likely tied. Fire and flood are the 2 biblically based possible atonements for blood-guilt. Except a people receive Jesus' blood sacrifice they will be turned over to one of these other forms of atonement.

In ancient Egypt the Egyptians had ordered the killing of the Hebrew babies at the time of Moses' birth. 40 years later that blood-guilt was atoned for by the drowning of Pharaoh and his army in the seas. This was a water based atonement, similar to Noah's flood. In general the plagues can be seen as the outworking of blood-guilt atonement. That this plague has landed in the State of Victoria suggests Victoria has a blood-guilt issue, either recent, with abortion, or historical, with Aborigines or in some other domain. It also suggest that blood-guilt remains un-atoned.

The main stream media as well as the PM of Australia pointed blame on arsonists and essentially ignored God in the equation. Like the World Trace Center attacks on 9-11, the public at large wants to blame other people and does not acknowledge that God is in complete control. Nor can they imagine that God is angry and has brought wrath for some reason. In this case the events in Australia follow a schedule laid out in scripture 70 jubilees before, so not only is it for a reason, it is on an ordained schedule.

Pope's Visit to Australia

After visiting the United States in April of 2008, the Pope returned to Rome and then made his next foreign visit to Sidney, Australia for World Youth Day. His US visit had been a prophetic match to events across the year 2008 and basically mapped each of the 2008 plague dates to events within the United States.

This Plague of Wind and associated fire marks the first of the Plague Dates that are beyond the timed components of his United States trip. The Pope's first event in his Australia visit was a dramatic arrival in Sidney harbor where he stood outside in the winds as he approached first the city and then the dock.

The Pope's arrival thus matched the plague of winds. It also included a dramatic dance performed by Australian natives dressed in ashes. This is all pointing at this particular prophetic date and the events that have unfolded in Australia over these 2 weekends.

The Pope's Australia trip included the dedication of a new altar, a re-enactment of the crucifixion of Jesus as well as an all night prayer vigil. The re-enactment of the crucifixion was also performed by an Aborigine actor, which may portend, as the story suggests, that the next plague, of Locusts, also involves fire and ashes.

The all night prayer vigil that marked the end of the Pope's Australia visit is a dramatic match to the Plague of Darkness that begins in April 2009. The Plague of Darkness may also have fulfillment involving Australia.

Fulfillment: California Suspends Tax Refunds

On February 1, 2009, the State of California began issuing IOUs for refunds on state Income Tax withholdings. As ABC is reporting, the California general fund has been empty for 17 months. But, as of February 1, 2009, the state has lost its ability to borrow and has now turned to IOUs.

Note that these IOUs are for overages paid to the state by California residents as part of the income tax withholding system. This is essentially money overpaid to California. The law establishes who gets paid first in this scenario and tax payers are lower in the list than others, thus no refunds.

This IOU strategy is expected to keep an additional $1.9 Billion in state coffers, allowing it to pay other obligations, but the strategy is only good for 30 days. At the end of the month another source of funding must be found, and this money withheld from taxpayer must still be paid back.

Notes

• The text begins by saying that the locusts will consume the residue, that which is left over. The action of the state of California is to stop paying refunds on over-paid income tax. This is payment of the residue left in the income tax system after accounting, a match to the text.

• The text says this has never happened "as neither thy fathers nor thy fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day." This is, of course, the first time California has failed to issue refunds on overpaid taxes, another match to the text.

• The text mentions the need for a feast, "for we must hold a feast unto Jehovah." The prophetic date for this headline is matched to Passover on the 30 day/month calendar, another match.

• The text discusses "wind for a day" which maps to a modern 30 day fulfillment interval. This 30 day interval is being seen in the 30 days of time this strategy buys the state of California. Another match.

• The specific February 4th prophetic date lands on Passover on the 30 day/month calendar, and on the February 1, 2009, the same calendar has Selection Day. February 1, 2009, is the date that California stopped paying its bills. That holiday is matched to the tribe of Judah which has an extensive story dealing with IOU's when Judah leaves behind an IOU with Tamar over a goat. Selection day is itself a form of IOU. Yet another match to the text.

Note that the state flag is a bear, one of the Biblical symbols for Judah and the matched tribe for Selection Day. In general the "plague of wind" matches Levi, who is the tribe responsible for government affairs. That this would fulfill in government matches Levi. It echos back to Judah in the logo because tribes beyond 7 generally match back to the core 7 tribes, and Levi matches back to Judah.

Comments

The text says that these winds bring the locusts, which start 45 days after this theoretical prophetic date. If the winds themselves remain state budget shortfalls, then the locusts are increased taxes at the local level that in effect tax everything.

Obama Weighs In -- Rules Changes

The theoretical date for the plague was at the end of the day on Wednesday, February 4, 2009. At this point Obama announced plans to cut the top pay for any executives of companies that in the future come to ask the government for bailout money. The new cap is $500,000. Additional compensation is possible but only in stock that cannot be redeemed until after the government has been paid back.

This change in rules has no impact on previous bailouts, including that of Goldman Saks, Morgan, Bank of America or Citi. It does impact any future bailouts.

This particular rule change plays to specific text in the plague narrative, dealing with a distinction between old and young men. Pharaoh allowed the old men to go serve Yahvah, but not the younger ones. This distinction, along the lines of previous bailouts vs. future bailouts is the fulfillment of that aspect of this plague date.

Note the specific date for this, Feb. 4, 2009, is a match to the Passover date for 13,000 AA. The date itself is set at the edge of the day and symbolizes fine distinctions and leaving Egypt in order to gain an inheritance. Obama was making such a distinction between older and younger bailout executives. He was also warning any further candidates for bailouts to remain away from the government lest they suffer the same 'wrath' as Egypt, a cut in pay.

Obama Weighs In -- Obama Op-Ed Piece

On Thursday, February 5, 2009, Obama began a press on Congress to get a much bigger "stimulus" package passed. In order to make his case, Obama penned (or at least signed) an Op-Ed piece in the Washington Post. In it, Obama said "And if nothing is done, this recession might linger for years. Our economy will lose 5 million more jobs. Unemployment will approach double digits. Our nation will sink deeper into a crisis that, at some point, we may not be able to reverse."

The key phrase was at the end, "we may not be able to reverse." This is fancy footwork for the text expected at this prophetic date. Egypt will be ruined, permanently unable to recover if something isn't done. At this date we finally heard it directly from Pharaoh himself.

Obama was requesting the US Senate pass a bill large enough to eventually bankrupt the country. Discussions with European heads of state at the same time have been centering on national bankruptcies, with Iceland, Greece, Italy, the UK and others all near that state. Even Germany has had public discussions on the problem of national bankruptcy. The Russians even dramatically changed the way they were assisting ailing firms. The change deliberately designed to protect the Russian Federal Government from bankruptcy.

The United States is approaching that point to, and adding nearly $1 Trillion moves the country closer to that inevitable point. What Obama fears most is something he is bringing on himself. He is bringing it on by is own actions.

The quote for this plague is telling, "And Pharaoh's servants said to him, 'How long will we suffer this disaster? Let the men go that they may serve Yahvah their God; do you not yet know that Egypt is destroyed?'" Apparently Pharaoh is beginning to think so, or at least that it is possible.

Note that this headline, on February 5, 2009, is on the date for the Sacred Assembly after Passover in the year 13,000 AA. This date normally goes with Gad, who is ruined by plunder as pirates usually are. Obama will get is wish, and may yet live to regret it. Also on this February 5, 2009, date, Obama attended the annual Prayer Breakfast at the Washington DC Hilton. This was the national sacred assembly expected as a fulfillment for the holiday.

Back In California

By Friday, February 6, 2009, Furlough Fridays began for about 200,000 California state employees. The governor ordered these furloughs on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month through June of 2010 in order to cut costs. Legal fights rage over employees of other branches of the government.

Then Winds in the USA

By the week of February 9, 2009, the winds finally came to the United States. The first round was a wave of winds and tornados across Oklahoma. Tornados occur in February at the rate of about 1 per year, and this February event was very unusual. Then the winds continued to the north and east.

By Thursday strong winds had reached the New York area as well as Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Power was reported out to more than 250,000 customers in Pennsylvania alone. There were numerous deaths and injuries reported as well. These same winds may have contributed to a crash of a commuter plane in the Buffalo area of New York State.

Winds in Europe

By February 11, 2009, the winds had come to Europe. The French shut down the 2 main airports serving Paris, and 900,000 customers were without power.

Other Headlines For the Date

Fire broke out at a large cathedral in Chicago.

Fire destroyed a 44 story luxury hotel under construction in Beijing. The fire started around 9:00 PM local time, (13:00 GMT) during the Lunar New Year celebration on Monday night February 9, 2009. The structure was fully engulfed across nearly all floors, a dramatic sight.

The CCTV network eventually issued a formal apology. Employees of the network apparently let off fireworks from the larger nearby CCTV building which landed on the roof of the hotel, setting it ablaze.

In general the Chinese media refused to cover the fire, and did not permit reports of it to be circulated in Chinese papers. The fire was on the Lunar new year and was considered a very bad omen for the upcoming year.

Moscow radically shifted its stance on bailouts for ailing Russian firms. Except for infrastructure companies, most are now unable to get government handouts. This significantly strengthens the Russian government long term, though it may cause short term problems for various companies.

Word leaked that the US Senate does not currently have the votes to pass Obama's stimulus. Likely to pass with a lower amount at some point future.

The US Treasury announced plans to float a record amount of US Treasury Bonds.

A day early, on February 3, 2009, the Iranians Launched an orbital satellite. This is the same general technology needed to drop a nuke anywhere in the world. The Chinese term for an ICBM is "Deng Fung" roughly translated "East Wind" and the launch of a rocket like this is yet another fulfillment of the East Wind expected this date. There were also reports that Korea was preparing to launch their own ICBM class rocket. Pray the Locusts are not delivered by these east winds in March of 2009.
