2009-03-21: Morning: Plague: Locusts.

The text for this plague suggests there was never a plague like this one, and it may be that this part says the ancient fulfillment dominates. No way to know for sure until this plague unfolds in modern headlines.

Fed To Monetize Obama's Stimulus

The text of the plague says that the winds bring the Locusts suggesting primary fulfillment centered on events that began when the winds began.

Within the financial world, where most of the plagues have seen fulfillment, the primary event at the start of the winds was newly elected United States President Obama's $2 Trillion stimulus legislation.

That legislation required massive US government borrowing and news leaked on March 17, 2009, that the Federal reserve would be the primary purchaser of those bonds. The process was once called "Printing Money" it has also been called "Quantitative Easing." By this process money is created out of thin air, reducing the value of all existing dollars by a proportionate amount.

Printing Money risks a sudden and uncontrolled collapse in the secondary market for government bonds. If that were to happen there would be a sudden end to the financing needed to keep the government functioning. The British began selling bonds to their central bank on the same date and there was an astonishing 7.35 bonds available for purchase for every bond actually purchased. The sentiment was beginning to cause the bond markets to collapse.

The text suggests a 2 week window, and this risk is past, so a full collapse may land on a future plague date.

Confiscatory Taxation

The text of the plague deals with the way the Locusts take that which remains from the earlier plagues. The most dramatic headline to this end that landed across the weekend was a bill passed by the US House of Representatives to tax remaining employee bonuses at an astonishing 90% rate. The law applies only to the bonus income of employees of AIG and a few other firms that have individually received over $5 Billion in US government bailouts.

This stunning turn of events suggest the US Congress is not above taxing anyone at 90%, taking everything that is left, a direct match to the text of the plague. This action, like many from the US Congress through this series of plagues breaks a Constitutional principle were the Congress cannot single out individuals in their legislation. Because taxation was the mechanism, the US Supreme court would most likely let the legislation stand, a very major concern for all workers across the United States.

This taxation legislation breaks a specific promise made in the stimulus package whereby AIG employees were specifically allowed to keep these bonuses. Since that stimulus bill was the winds that arrive at this date this debate is an expected fulfillment for the date.

A fundamental reason why "3rd world" countries remain so is because their governments cannot provide a stable environment where legal promises are kept. Mob rule eventually takes over and no one can safely invest the capital needed to bring national prosperity. With this legislation the United States becomes a 3rd world country too. In effect Congress is shown as unable to keep promises, much less enforce the promises made between other parties.

Bank Bailout

News was leaked on Friday, March 20, 2009, a day ahead of theoretical, of the details of the US Federal Government's plan to remove troubled assets from bank balance sheets. The plan had been hinted at in February, but with no details (think wind) and a round of criticism of the Treasury.

This time Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner was more concrete, with essentially 97% of the risk capital being put up by the government, with private capital at 3 percent. The intent is to get assets off bank balance sheets, it is hoped, so they will resume lending.

The timing of this is also congruent with the general timing, an announcement in February, 2009, of a plan, and then the plan arrives on the date for this Plague of Locusts. Financial analysts were roundly critical of the Public Private Investment Partnership because it does nothing to address the problem of a fiat currency system in collapse.

Movie: Knowing

There have been a few other times when movies have been the primary fulfillment of expected prophetic dates. This date had a movie premiere with a high number of matches between the content of the movie and the prophetic date. The movie this time is called "Knowing."

Important specific points:

• Opening Date for the movie was 1 day ahead of theoretical for this Issachar related Plague date.

• Model The movie was based on a model of predicted headlines given by an old document, something the Bible does for all serious headlines. Issachar, though, as a tribe, knew the times and the moview focuses on this specific gifting on the date for the Issachar plague.

• October Date The movie gives a date of October 19, 2009, as a target prophetic date. That date is the day-for-a-year replay of the year 1876, the year that war broke out in the Balkans. That war never really died down until after World War II. The Balkans are the modern location of the lost tribe of Issachar. Note the movie appears to publiclly explain that this plague date, which should normally land here, has an alternative date, October 19, 2009, where Issachar does end up in the news. Note that October is the general month for the replay of the plague on First Born, another possible match.

• The Tree The ending scene is of a massive tree, the "fig tree" or "tree of life" which is also a symbol of Greece, another country located on the Balkan Peninsula. The scene where the tree is shown is in a wheat field, a match to the Locusts Plague.

• Use of Fire The movie depicts several visions of fire, consistent with recent visions of fire in New York City. Fire in Hebrew is a "Strong Consumer" a match to the Locusts othewise expected for this date.

• Plane Wrecks There were 2 notable plane crashes across the weekend, one in Montana and one at Norita airport outside Tokyo. At least 2 plane wrecks of similar nature are depicted in the movie, adding to the thought that the movie is prophetic, something it appears to claim for itself. In both cases the planes suddenly fall from the sky.

This movie appears to provide a specific answer to the question raised in the text about if this plague would happen again. Was the historical fulfillment the worst, or should we expect another at this date?

The answer provided by this movie is look to a replay of the Balkans war as the Issachar related headline. Don't look on this date, Issachar does know the date instead that is interesting.

Other Headlines of Note

The plague series often generates headlines across an interval, not just on the starting date for the interval. Several headlines of note so far:

• Brown Shirt legislation passed the US House of Representatives. The moral equivalent to Hilter's Brown Shirts from the 1930s began the process of becoming law in the United States. Forced volunteer labor is the natural goal of a government expecting to become unable to use currency to control the public. This plays specifically to the overarching theme of the Exodus Plagues of increasing and forced labor on the working public by Pharaoh and his minions.

• Alaska's Mount Redoubt exploded over the weekend, disrupting airline travel to and through Alaska. May be a hint at the plague of darkness.

• President Obama continued a major press to get seen on the major networks. On the previous Thursday he appeared on Jay Leno's late night show on NBC, and then on Sunday after the expected date he appeared on CBS's 60 Minutes. He was also scheduled to hold a major news conference on the following Tuesday.

• China again talked about dropping the US dollar as a reserve currency in favor of a market basket of currencies. The general strategy was the same used to establish the Euro, though this would be for all currencies world wide and would end the use of a single nation's currency as a reserve currency. A single currency like this would end the ability of specific central banks to print money, something that will not be easily given up, though the United Nations could use it as a source of income.
