The German government held a closely watched vote on using leverage to expand the European Financial Stability Fund. (EFSF) The plan involved the use of substantial leverage to provide trillions in additional Euros to troubled banks. 523 voted in favor, 85 against, a blow out. Several other European governments needed to also vote in agreement, but none were as key as Germany, since German tax payers would be the primary group paying the bill.
By the following Tuesday the first bank in trouble from Sovereign debt issues, Dexia began to go through its own "Lehman Moment." This caused an immediate rally in stock prices, since the governments involved were stepping in, but the longer term problem was the cost of bailing out other banks in worse shape still to come. Costs to insure Belgian and French government bonds against default went up on the news.
Seeming to spring out of nowhere, the Occupy Wallstreet movement reached its 10th day.
This is appears to be the "on the ground" fulfillment for the first born plague. People have gathered (in cities) like the Israelites gathered in houses. Leaving their parks has caused trouble with event participants like leaving ancient houses caused trouble too.
More established political operators realized almost immediately that the movement was ripe for being co-opted as the Tea Party had been. This time, though, the democrats and union interests appeared to be the agents of the co-opt.

Principle of Timing
We found the first-born plague series running again in early August, 2011. This was a long awaited but not yet seen plague on first born. The rest of the plagues had started formally in 2007, with headlines themselves that had started with the Israel-Lebanon war of 2006.
If we take the August 2011 dates and consider them to be tied timing wise to the series from 2007, we end up with a specific number of months offset from those earlier dates. This time those months are days, and they spread out from the bulk of the headline dates in August of 2011. They formally hit on September 27, 2011. This is the date for this page.
After this date the focus of headlines should change to the "plague of plunder" which is when the Egyptians are plundered of their gold and silver.
