In mid October riots broke out in Jerusalem. The riots landed on the next prophetic dates. The public could not tell what would eventually become known: Saddam was behind the violence. The UN went crazy, condemning Israel. The anti-Iraq alliance held and the war preparations continued.
The day-for-a-year outline is quiet until the years of the births of Jepheth, Shem and Ham. The years of these births map to October 14, 15, and 16, 1990. Though not known publicly this date, Saddam had hatched a plan to draw the west away from Kuwait.
1 week earlier, Sunday, October 7, 1990, there had been heavy violence in Jerusalem. 21 people had been killed. Palestinians had dropped large rocks from the temple mount area down on the Jewish worshipers at the Western Wall. The Israeli army had responded with force.
On Friday, October 12, 1991, Israel's president, Yitzak Shamir, claimed this was a premeditated plot. The Palestinians claim in response that this was in response to a Jewish fundamentalist group's plan to lay a symbolic cornerstone for a new Jewish temple.
By the next day, Saturday, October 12, 1991, the United Nations had adopted a resolution condemning Israel for her action. In a very unusual move the United States supported this U.N. resolution. Though the reason was not publicly given, this was probably to support the alliance that was moving weapons to the middle east in order to liberate Kuwait.
Only later would it be revealed this was masterminded by Saddam himself, in an attempt to break the alliance. If the United States had supported Israel this time, the alliance may have broke. Instead the alliance held and the war preparations would continue.
Up north, in the Soviet Union, at the same time, Gorbachev was again doing things on the trunk day-for-a-year time line. On October 15, 1990, Gorbachev was awarded the 1990 Nobel Prize, worth $710,000.
On October 16, 1990, Gorbachev sent yet another economic plan to the Supreme Soviet. Curiously, he had left the plan intact as produced by his advisors except for one line item. The "500 day" period for execution was dropped. The births' of Noah's sons, that drive these specific dates, spring from a reference to Noah's 500th year. On October 20, 1990, the Supreme Soviet adopted this new economic plan.
Also on October 16, 1990, a large, 290 member delegation from the Soviet Union was attending a series of meetings in Kansas.
It is very hard to know from watching this timeline if there is a stronger linkage between the Soviets and Iraq. I suspect there was. The Iraqis had been armed and trained by the Soviets. Saddam had made various state visits to Moscow. Though Saddam was going to war on his own, the Soviet military system was on trial. It would not hold and the Soviet Union would fall.
The simple way the timeline keeps showing off important events in both places is also a clue that these two events are linked together tightly.
Noah's flood began with a 7 day warning. It was prophetic for authorizations for war. We turn to that next.
