Authorization for War

Noah was warned the flood would come in 7 days. The replay of this warning centered at the United States Congress and the Iraqi Parliament. Both approved their respective armies to go to war with the other about 7 days before the actual start of hostilities.

Background

It seems we live in an era where wars are rarely "declared" but in this case both the United States Congress and the Iraqi Parliaments both authorized their respective leaders to wage war.

The prophetic date springs from the warning that Noah was given, being told that the rains would begin in 7 days.¹ The theoretical timeline date for this is probably Sunday, January 13, 1991. This could be a day later depending on exactly how those 7 days are counted.

United States Authorization

On Thursday, January 10, 1991, the United States Congress opened debate on the Gulf War.

On Saturday, January 12, 1991, the United States Congress agreed with the need for war and authorized President Bush to go to war in the Middle East.

Iraqi Authorization

On Monday, January 14, 1991, the Iraqi Parliament also authorized war, supporting Saddam Hussein and his war with the west.

Early bombing

The very first use of force by the west in the Persian Gulf War was on Wednesday, January 16, 1991. This was not the real "kicker" of the war. For the first time the United States would use Tomahawk Cruise Missiles. The use of those weapons constituted the "rain" that had been foretold.
