The Olympic Torch departed Greece on June 2, 2004, for a June 4, 2004, arrival at Sydney. This is the first city in a 70 day, 33 city, world wide tour on the way to opening ceremonies in Athens on August 13, 2004. These Olympic games land on the most important cluster of prophetic dates this summer. They also land on the largest known cluster of prophetic stories from the Bible since September 11, 2001. What follows is my understanding of a disaster that awaits Athens.
The past 10 weeks or so I've been testing out and debugging charts and software that measure time down into the seconds. If headlines continue to hold to the clock then it will support an idea: prophetic world headlines appear to happen at predictable times of the day. This, even, across time zones and around the world.
While working through that process I found problems in the new software and some of the charts. The low precision versions were inconsistent with the high precision versions that I've been reading from. Fixing this problem has caused me to shift the high precision apparent dates for the modern repetition forward by 1 day. This causes everything to fulfill 1 day earlier than I've been stating over the past 10 weeks. For the record, this article is written using the updated software and charts.
Nearly all of the prophetic stories that apply in the middle of August, 2004, include references to some number of days, typically 3 days, but sometimes simply several days. Because of this I cannot give a precise date for when this story is going to unfold. The best evidence is that the fulfillment headline itself will take several days (perhaps 3, maybe 5) to unfold. Those three days appear to land somewhere in the 5 days Saturday, August 14, 2004 through Wednesday, August 18, 2004, but they could be wider.
Because these stories also fulfilled with headlines in the early 1980s it is also possible to bound the prophetic window to this same modern 5 day widow, thought it may be wider. See below.
The basic Bible Time Theory says Bible history repeats again. It does so at several different scales consistent with the Bible's own internal repetitions. Each repetition within the Bible provides stories that join together and repeat in various ways and times in modern headlines.
The charts are the best place to see this. But, before headlines actually happen all we know is the set of scriptures that match a certain modern time. We don't know which parts of those stories will fulfill in headline news this time around. Pulling together the scripture is an art, not a science, and much more difficult to do before the headlines actually happen.
Since September 11, 2001, there has never been a date like this, with as much scripture and stories linked together. 3 years ago I only knew enough to write up the event after the fact. This is the first time since that I've stared down a date like September 11, 2001, and been able to state the place as well as time. We'll see how much actually turns out to fit real headlines.
What follows is a collection of the known scriptures that appear to fulfill together in the middle of August, 2004.
The book of John is sometimes apparently out of step with the other three Gospels. Bible scholars often ignore the book of John in written harmonies because the inconsistencies make them think John was written in time far separated from when it happened and the author of John could not remember when these things really happened.
I take a quite different view. The author of the Book of John ordered his account around a prophetic time line so he could provide modern readers with one version of a prophetic outline of headlines in the season before Jesus' return. The Book of John is consistent with the other Gospels when taken this way and has been fulfilling nicely in headline news. The story that points to mid August, 2004, is the following:
40 John 2:18
40 John 2:18-21

Timing this passage comes from the reference to 46 years.
The year of Jesus' public ministry was the year 11019 AA. If this is the 46th year in the 46 years spent building what was called Herod's Temple, then the first year of those 46 years was 10974 AA. 10974 AA replays prophetically through simple day-for-a-year prophecy on August 13, 2004.
Of course Jesus' own year of ministry is replaying at this same time. There is separate mathematics for this, but his ministry day 117, (May 11, 30 AD) also hit this day. This is also consistent with the Book of John's prophetic version of Jesus' ministry chronology, allowing this story to have happened on this same day. This forms an inflection, for readers who are familiar with the rest of the Bible Time website. There are several such inflections in Jesus' story line, itself a miracle.
The rest of John's narrative is important. 3 days are referenced here, suggesting at least 3 days to the prophetic event, with the start or opening of a temple on August 13, 2004, the known opening of the Olympic games.
The Olympic games are a temple to the body a parable on what was going on with Jesus in this account. This is the first direct reference to the Olympics themselves, not just the time.
The specific time reference that draws attention from Genesis is a reference from the genealogical account of Cain, Enoch, and Lamech. I've reproduced the original account in its entirety because some details of the August 13, date spring from details at Cain's generation. Here is the original account:

1 Genesis 4:8-25 8And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
9And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brothers keeper? 10And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brothers blood crieth unto me from the ground. 11And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brothers blood from thy hand; 12When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. 13And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear. 14Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. 15And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
16And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. 17And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. 18And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.
19And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. 20And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle. 21And his brothers name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ. 22And Zillah, she also bare Tubal- cain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah. 23And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt. 24If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
25And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. (KJV)

13¶ And Cain said to the LORD, My transgression is too great to be forgiven. 14Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the land; and from thy face shall I be hidden; and I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth; and it shall come to pass, that whoever finds me shall slay me. 15And the LORD said to him, It shall not be so; whoever slays Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, so that anyone who may find him may not kill him.
16¶ And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. 17And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bore Enoch; and he started to build a village, and named the village after the name of his son, Enoch. 18And to Enoch was born Irad; and Irad begot Mehujael; and Mehujael begot Methusael: and Methusael begot Lamech.
19¶ And Lamech took two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. 20And Adah bore Jabal, who was the father of those who dwell in tents, and are owners of cattle. 21And his brother's name was Jubal; he was the father of all those who play the guitar and harp. 22And Zillah also bore Tubal-cain, a craftsman in every work of brass and iron; and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.
23¶ And Lamech said to his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; you wives of Lamech, hearken to my speech; for I have killed a man by wounding him, and a boy by beating him. 24For if Cain is to be avenged sevenfold, then Lamech seventy and sevenfold.

1 Genesis 4:8-25 8Cain said to Abel his brother, "Let us go out to the field." And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel, and killed him. 9Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" He said, "I do not know; am I my brother's keeper?" 10And the LORD said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood is crying to me from the ground. 11And now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand. 12When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield to you its strength; you shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth." 13Cain said to the LORD, "My punishment is greater than I can bear. 14Behold, thou hast driven me this day away from the ground; and from thy face I shall be hidden; and I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will slay me." 15Then the LORD said to him, "Not so! If any one slays Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold." And the LORD put a mark on Cain, lest any who came upon him should kill him. 16Then Cain went away from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
17Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch; and he built a city, and called the name of the city after the name of his son, Enoch. 18To Enoch was born Irad; and Irad was the father of Me-hu'ja-el, and Me-hu'ja-el the father of Me-thu'sha-el, and Me-thu'sha-el the father of Lamech. 19And Lamech took two wives; the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. 20Adah bore Jabal; he was the father of those who dwell in tents and have cattle. 21His brother's name was Jubal; he was the father of all those who play the lyre and pipe. 22Zillah bore Tubal-cain; he was the forger of all instruments of bronze and iron. The sister of Tubal-cain was Na'amah.
23Lamech said to his wives: "Adah and Zillah, hear my voice; you wives of Lamech, hearken to what I say: I have slain a man for wounding me, a young man for striking me. 24If Cain is avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy-sevenfold."
25And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and called his name Seth, for she said, "God has appointed for me another child instead of Abel, for Cain slew him." (RSV)
1 Genesis 4:8-25 8Now Cain said to his brother Abel, "Let's go out to the field." And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.
9Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?" "I don't know," he replied. "Am I my brother's keeper?"
10The LORD said, "What have you done? Listen! Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground. 11Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand. 12When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth."
13Cain said to the LORD, "My punishment is more than I can bear. 14Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me."
15But the LORD said to him, "Not so; if anyone kills Cain, he will suffer vengeance seven times over." Then the LORD put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him. 16So Cain went out from the LORD's presence and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
17Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch. 18To Enoch was born Irad, and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael was the father of Methushael, and Methushael was the father of Lamech.
19Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other Zillah. 20Adah gave birth to Jabal; he was the father of those who live in tents and raise livestock. 21His brother's name was Jubal; he was the father of all who play the harp and flute. 22Zillah also had a son, Tubal-Cain, who forged all kinds of tools out of bronze and iron. Tubal-Cain's sister was Naamah.
23Lamech said to his wives, "Adah and Zillah, listen to me; wives of Lamech, hear my words. I have killed a man for wounding me, a young man for injuring me. 24If Cain is avenged seven times, then Lamech seventy-seven times."
25Adam lay with his wife again, and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth, saying, "God has granted me another child in place of Abel, since Cain killed him." (NIV)

He said, 'I don't know. Am I my brother's keeper?'
10Yahweh said, 'What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries to me from the ground. 11Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand. 12From now on, when you till the ground, it won't yield its strength to you. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth.'
13Cain said to Yahweh, 'My punishment is greater than I can bear. 14Behold, you have driven me out this day from the surface of the ground. I will be hidden from your face, and I will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth. It will happen that whoever finds me will kill me.'
15Yahweh said to him, 'Therefore whoever slays Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.' Yahweh appointed a sign for Cain, lest any finding him should strike him.

'Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice,

24If Cain will be avenged seven times,
Truly Lamech seventy-seven times.'

1 Genesis 4:8-25 8And Cain said to Abel his brother, Let us go to the plain; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
9And Yahvah said to Cain, Where is Abel your brother? And he said, I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper? 10And Yahvah said, What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries to me from the ground. 11And from now on, you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand; 12When you till the ground, it will not yield its strength to you any longer; a fugitive and a wanderer you will be on the earth.
13And Cain said to Yahvah, My transgression is too great to be forgiven. 14Look, you have driven me out this day from the face of the land; and from your face I will be hidden; and I will be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth; and it will come to pass, that whoever finds me will slay me. 15And Yahvah said to him, It will not be so; whoever slays Cain, vengeance will be taken on him 7-fold. And Yahvah set a mark on Cain, so that anyone who may find him may not kill him.
16And Cain went out from the presence of Yahvah, and lived in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
19And Lamech took 2 wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
20And Adah bore Jabal, who was the father of those who live in tents, and are owners of cattle. 21And his brother's name was Jubal; he was the father of all those who play the guitar and harp. 22And also Zillah bore Tubal-Cain, a craftsman in every work of brass and iron; and the sister of Tubal-Cain was Naamah.
23And Lamech said to his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; you wives of Lamech, listen to my speech; for I have killed a man by wounding him, and a boy by beating him. 24For if Cain is to be avenged 7-fold, then Lamech 70 and 7-fold.
25And Adam knew his wife Eve again; and she conceived and bore a son, and called his name Seth; For God, she said, has given me another offspring instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. (BRB)
The mathematics spring from the timing of Jesus ministry. He was replaying the historical chronology across his ministry, so he replays this account from Genesis.
Three modern prophetic dates are suggested by Lamech's genealogy from Cain. The first is April 22, 2004, when Pat Tillman was killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan. Tillman played the role of noble Abel, he also prophetically played the roll of the death of David, another noble man, as the Judean Kings is itself a prophetic version of the original time line.
The second date from Cain's account was the 7 times avenging, replaying as it did on July 16, 2004. This curious date also replayed Zimri's 7 days as king of the northern kingdom of ancient Israel, when he assassinated the previous king, ruled for 7 days then died in a palace fire.
Headlines for July 16, 2004, included a fire in a school in India where 90 school children were killed. (The palace fire.) It also included a power outage in Athens, the second in 5 days, drawing our attention back to Athens and the Olympics. (My guess is that like Zimri's set fire, the substation fire and school fire were both caused by people. In Athens it was likely a test in the run up to the games.)
This same story also replayed back in October 1981, when Sadat was assassinated while viewing a military parade. He was replaced 7 days later with Hozni Mubarak, the current, but aging, leader of Egypt.
In all of these stories, including Sadat's death, the theme is being killed by friendly fire in places away from home, but which should otherwise be safe. The same will likely happen at Athens. This is not a story of outsiders attacking, but insiders, people who should be trustworthy, turning on the people near them.
Read news accounts of the first, the July 12, Athens power outage here or here. (Drudge doesn't keep an archive, of the July 16 outage, that I know of.)
Read the account of the school fire here.
The second reference to time in the Genesis account expands on the basic expression '7 times' and becomes 70 * 7 times. The multiplication is implied by the text and not explicit. Some translations also butcher the translation, nothing I can do about that either.
With the expression '70 times 7' the math is different. The expression '7 times' at the base of the expression is expanded by 7, yielding 7 sabbath cycles or 50 years. This is also known as a Jubilee. 70 of those is 3500 years forward along the historical chronology from Cain killing Abel.
This date appears to replay around midnight on Monday morning, August 15, 2004. (Though my clocks are not yet set with certainty, the date is likely OK.)
Links to the Olympics? Yes. At least 2 already.
People at different generations in a family line are considered equivalent so this story paints a picture about Cain, Enoch, and Lamech. Cain draws his brother Abel out into the country in order to kill him. Part of his punishment is that he will become a restless wanderer on the earth.
One of the key symbolic events of the Olympic games is the restless wandering of the Olympic flame as it travels over the earth to the games. There will have been 70 days worth of wandering, beginning at Sidney, ending at Athens on August 13, 2004. Along the way it will visit 33 cities, indicating the Masons are putting on the show.
Cain was the city builder, in contrast to his brother Abel, and Lamech himself is seen building a city.1
The Olympic games, in nearly every place where they have been held, has lead to the construction of an "Olympic Village" or more in keeping with the original Bible text an Olympic City.
Headlines have been full of articles dealing with the construction of the buildings needed to host the Olympics. See the BBC article. General strikes were held in order to extort a pay raise for the workers. The roof was left off the main swimming pool. The roof of the main stadium will go up in the weeks immediately before opening. We're being told about Athens because this is a feature of the prophetic story. Athens, too, has been building a city in order to host the games.
The Passion Week account of the same prophetic time line includes a reference in the Book of Mark. At the start of Monday of Passion Week, Mark records that Jesus cursed a fig tree on his way into the city. The following is the relevant text:
42 Mark 11:12

This quote includes a time reference that pushes Mark's narrative into the next day. This is hour 17 in the Passion Week chronology, prophetic for the date range August 9 - 15, 2004, though it could stretch later by a week or 2.
The fig, as a symbol, deals with the nations. 'Good Figs' went to the nations at the time of the Babylonian captivity.2 The fig tree symbol used here is likely also a reference to the nations, gathered at Athens beginning August 13, 2004.
Compare Mark's reference back to the Genesis account of Lamech. Noah, the man who would survive the flood at the end of that age in human history, was descended from Seth, not Lamech. Cain's family history comes to an abrupt halt at Lamech. There was never any fruit from Lamech again. The very next verse after the 70 times 7 reference actually tells the story.3 Not only did Seth replace Abel, whom Cain had killed, Seth's offspring replaced Abel's essentially completely. (Noah's wives and daughters-in-law could have been from this line.) There was never any fruit again.
Does this apply to the Olympic Games? Perhaps.
The Olympic organizing committee, rather famously, took out a $170 million insurance policy on the off chance that the games cannot be held. They have never done this before because they have not been afraid themselves of a loss of continuity. The value of the policy is to allow the Olympics to continue long enough to attempt to host another set of games. The Olympic Committee is basically afraid that they will never yield any fruit again.
The kingly chronology from Solomon through Zechariah is also a prophetic replay and this time in mid August picks off stories from the Judean king Jehoshaphat.
Jehoshaphat, the name, first occurs in David's time as a man who was David's recorder. There is a rule of first occurrence in interpreting Bible symbols that suggests the first use of any name or symbol defines the use later on. We are, of course, looking at the Olympics and the most important officials are the time keepers, or recorders. Curious.
Jehoshaphat is present when Ahab has hidden himself and gone to war and is then killed by an arrow shot at random into the sky. This story might matter, but I'm saving space here by not reproducing the whole account.
Ahab's death by random arrow from the sky happens with great uncertainty. It could be anywhere from August 14, 2004, through August 16, 2004.
Jehoshaphat's own record in the the account of the Judean kings is this:
10 First Kings 22:41-50 41And Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel. 42Jehoshaphat was thirty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mothers name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi. 43And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he turned not aside from it, doing that which was right in the eyes of the LORD: nevertheless the high places were not taken away; for the people offered and burnt incense yet in the high places. 44And Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel. 45Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he shewed, and how he warred, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? 46And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land. 47There was then no king in Edom: a deputy was king. 48Jehoshaphat made ships of Tharshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they went not; for the ships were broken at Ezion-geber. 49Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships. 10 First Kings 22:41-50 41Jehosh'aphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel. 42Jehosh'aphat was thirty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. 48Now Jehoshaphat built a fleet of trading ships to go to Ophir for gold, but they never set sail -- they were wrecked at Ezion Geber. 49At that time Ahaziah son of Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, "Let my men sail with your men," but Jehoshaphat refused.

His mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi. 43He walked in all the way of Asa his father; He didn't turn aside from it, doing that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh: however the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places. 44Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel. 45Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he shown, and how he warred, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? 46The remnant of the sodomites, that remained in the days of his father Asa, he put away out of the land. 47There was no king in Edom: a deputy was king. 48Jehoshaphat made ships of Tarshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they didn't go; for the ships were broken at Ezion Geber. 49Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab to Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with your servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not. 50Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; Jehoram his son reigned in his place. (WEB)

Wrecked ships, whatever it may actually be in Athens, points at Greece as a place of fulfillment. If you will, the story says there will be a wrecked ship at the place of ships, Zebulun, modern Greece.
Different translations describe the remnant that Jehoshaphat removed during his time in different ways. They are Sodomites (King James Version and friends), or male shrine prostitutes (NIV and friends).
This is actually how the Olympics started. The games were originally performed in the nude by men at a temple dedicated to Zeus. These early Olympic athletes were male shrine prostitutes, what else can I say. Though usually unsaid, the Olympics were a way to drum up business, if you know what I mean. The modern Olympics simply descend from their origins.
There is another Jehoshaphat account that might matter here. He gave warning to those specifically who live in cities, not everyone in the entire country completely. This links to Lamech, the city builder discussed earlier who's story matches prophetically. The following is the text from 2 Chronicles.

Finally, a last fragment that fits with the other stories. Jehoshaphat's kingdom was attacked. He prayed for deliverance and what happens? The enemy eventually kills itself. This a link to how Abel was killed by Cain. The following is the account.
