Fulfillment: October 12, 2005: Natives in Venezuela Receive Land Deeds

Psalm 126 replayed on October 12, 2005. The fulfillment story was out of Venezuela, where Chavez returned 1.65 million acres of land to native South American tribes. Most western media missed the key event and focused instead on comment in the ceremony where Chavez banned a US based missions group from continued work with these same tribes.

Background

We are in a time when the Psalms are passing, one at a time, about 1 psalm every 15 days.

Psalm 126 was expected October 12, 2005.

The following is the text:

Fulfillment

Fulfillment would be expected to involve the return of displaced people to their lands somewhere in the world.

This happened in Venezuela.

Hugo Chavez, the Venezuela president, gave 15 land titles covering over 1.65 million acres of land in a formal ceremony on October 12, 2005, the exact, expected, prophetic date.

The receivers of the titles were native South Americans who had been previously displaced from their historical lands.

Note that the receivers of the land also asked for loans to cover the cost of seed, something also mentioned in the Psalm.

References

Curiously, the American media focused on Chavez's comment during the ceremony that he would block a Florida based American missionary organization from continued missionary work with the natives of Venezuela that received the land.

Other reports suggest this is Chavez's retaliation for Pat Robertson's comments calling for Chavez's assassination.

Robertson is one of the sorriest excuses for a Christian voice there is in American media. When Robertson opens his mouth, people risk spiritual death. Shame.
