Request of James and John

James and John want to sit on Jesus’ right and left in his kingdom. They will be part of that, they are disciples who match one-on-one to the tribes. The problem is these two are a team by themselves, and do not sit on either side. The other disciples get indignant and the entire episode erupts into an argument.

This is prophetic for the split in the Roman world in the early 300s AD, or the 11,300 AA era.

This is foretold in other parables, for example, those dealing with the split in the Mount of Olives, or Mount of Peace. Their request marks the end of peace between the Russian/Eastern peoples and the English/European/Western peoples.

Luke (P)

43 Luke 22:24-30
24There was also a dispute among them about who was the greatest among them.
25Jesus said to them, The kings of the Gentiles are also their masters, and those who rule over them are called benefactors;
26but not so with you; let him who is great among you be the least, and he who is a leader, be like one who serves.
27For who is greater, he who sits down or he who serves? Is it not he who sits down? But I am among you as one who serves.

28You are those who have remained with me throughout my trials.
29And I promise you, just as my father has promised me, a kingdom,
30that you may eat and drink at the table in my kingdom; and you will sit on seats and judge the 12 tribes of Israel.

Mount Of Olives

This place is a match to the OT Splitting of the Mount of Olives, with 1/2 going east and 1/2 going west. It fulfilled in history with the division of Rome. (In roughly 11371-11400 AA.)

In Matthew’s account the exact timing just established is 11531 AA, or 541 AD, which is when the Caesar at Rome abandoned the city for Constantinople. This is another candidate, but later, for this.

Luke’s account is quite different, but it points at the same period with the point being made that Christians will judge the tribes, ie: rule over them. This process begins with the Christianization of Rome at about the same era.

John’s account also points at this era. Christianization of Europe matches the disciples believing. "Now we know you know all things." "We believe you came forth from God." "You will be scattered." These are all references to this era.

John (P) Matthew (P) Mark (P)

40 John 16:29-17:0
29His disciples said to him, Look, now you speak plainly and do not utter a single figure.
30Now we understand that you know everything, and you need no man to ask you; by this, we believe that you have come from god.
31Jesus said to them, Believe,
32for look, the hour is coming, and it has now come, when you will be dispersed, every man to his own country, and you will leave me alone; yet I am never alone, because the father is with me.
33These things I have said to you, that in me, you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation; but have courage, I have conquered the world.

41 Matthew 26:30-32
30And they offered praise, and went out to the mount of Olives.
31Then Jesus said to them, All of you will deny me this night; for it is written, I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of his flock will be scattered.
32But after I am risen, I will be in Galilee before you.

42 Mark 14:26-28
26And they offered praise, and went out to the mount of Olives.
27Then Jesus said to them, All of you will deny me this night; for it is written, I will strike the shepherd, and his sheep will scatter.
28But when I am risen, I will be in Galilee before you.

Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial

Peter will deny Jesus 3 times. Each denial represents an hour and the prediction folds to the hour ahead of the first denial.

Matthew (P) Mark (P) Luke (P)

41 Matthew 26:33-35
33Peter answered and said to him, Even if every man should deny you, I will never deny you.
34Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, that this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny me 3 times.
35Peter said to him, Even if I must die with you, I will never deny you. All the disciples said likewise.

42 Mark 14:29-31
29Peter said to him, Even if all of them should desert you, I would not.
30Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you that you, today, in this night, before the rooster crows twice, will deny me 3 times.
31But he kept telling him still more, Even if I must die with you, I will never deny you, my master. All the disciples also said the same.

43 Luke 22:31-34
31And Jesus said to Simon, Simon, look, the accuser wants to sift all of you like wheat;
32but I have made supplication for you that your faith may not weaken; and even you, in time, will repent and strengthen your brothers.
33Simon said to him, My master, I am ready with you, even for the prison and for death.
34Jesus said to him, I say to you, Simon, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied 3 times that you know me.

Told to Prepare

This is an out-take prediction, not particularly linked to historical time. Note: Being "numbered" with transgressors is something that comes up in Mark’s account at Jesus’ death on the cross. This passage reinforces that this event is the end of matters concerning salvation. Jesus is editorializing on the end 19000 years.

Luke (P)

43 Luke 22:35-39
35And he said to them, When I sent you out without purses and without bags and shoes, did you lack anything? They said to him, Not a thing.
36He said to them, From now on, he who has purses, let him take them, and the bag likewise; and he who has no sword, let him sell his robe and buy for himself a sword.
37For I say to you, that what is written must be fulfilled in me, He will be numbered among the wicked; for all the things concerning me will be fulfilled.
38And they said to him, Master, look, here are 2 swords. He said to them, That is enough.

39And he came out and went away, as it was his custom, to the mount of the place of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.

To Gethsemane

To the garden.

John (P) Matthew (P) Mark (P)

40 John 18:1
1Jesus said these things and went out with his disciples across the Kidron brook, to a place where there was a garden, where he and his disciples entered.

41 Matthew 26:36
36Then Jesus came with them to a place which is called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, Sit down here, while I go pray.

42 Mark 14:32-33
32And they came to a place which is called Gethsemane; and he said to his disciples, Sit down here, while I pray.
33And he took with him Peter and Jacob and John, and he began to be sorrowful and depressed.

Day/Year Passion Replay

On Tuesday, November 3, 2009, United States President Obama hosted a US-EU Summit at the white house. Visitors included German and Swedish presidents, and other leaders from around Europe.

The passage for this hour includes Jesus discussing how the disciples stayed with Jesus. This is an interesting historical reference to the way the lost tribes settled in Europe and generally remained Christian through the centuries. Jesus promises the disciples a kingdom, and it will include the 12 tribes, which is what become the European Union of today, the group which assembled for this summit at this point.

The Mount of Olives discussion deals with the disbursal of the disciples, each to his own country, something that happened at the end of the summit, which more precisely measures this hour. It is also interesting that this reinforces the idea that each would map to individual countries, which whey do through the various apostle-to-tribe maps that generally fall across Europe.

The text for this hour also includes discussion of Peter's denial. Fulfillment of this aspect of the hour includes a visit with the İstanbul-based Greek Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew and Obama at the White House. The subject of the visit was the reopening of an Eastern Orthodox Halki Seminary in Turkey, a topic that Obama has brought up in April, 2009, when visiting that country.

This Patriarch is the leader of the 300,000,000 member eastern Orthodox church. The eastern equivalent of the Pope at Rome. He is the other claimant to the seat of Peter, another direct match to this passage. Because Peter is the disciple to the Russian peoples, this Patriarch has a stronger claim to being the descendant of Peter, and thus a stronger claim for fulfillment.

The problem for Peter, and the eastern peoples generally, is they tend at times to deny Jesus. The orthodox church was never intellectually strong enough to defend Jesus in the onslaught brought on by Islam. In this specific case Peter's problem was the closing, instead of moving, of a seminary. This has been an issue for Turkey generally who has wanted EU membership, but persecution of Christian minorities has been an ongoing problem. This seminary has been closed since 1971 by government decree.

The passage also deals with advice to prepare. In this case money in purses and sword in hand. The price of gold had broken through the $1000 level a few weeks before and continued its climb.

Obama eventually departed Washington DC for a speech at a middle school in Madison, Wisconsin. Wisconsin governor Jim Davis introduced Obama at the James C. Wright Middle School. Note the name of the governor and the name of the school match the name of the disciple, Jacob or James, that Jesus took to the garden.
