Jesus Before Caiaphas, Will Come With Power

41 Matthew 26:57-68
⁵⁷And those who had arrested Jesus took him to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders had assembled.
⁵⁸But Simon Peter followed him from far away, up to the courtyard of the high priest, and he went inside and sat with the soldiers, to see the end.
⁵⁹Now the high priests and the elders and the whole council were seeking witnesses against Jesus, so that they might put him to death.
⁶⁰But they could not find any; then a great many false witnesses came; but at the end, 2 came forward,
⁶¹and said, This man said, I can tear down the temple of God, and build it in 3 days.
⁶²And the high priest stood up and said to him, You are not answering anything. What is it that these men testify against you?
⁶³But Jesus was silent. Then the high priest answered and said to him, I adjure you by the living God, to tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God?
⁶⁴Jesus said to him, You say that. But I say to you, that from now on, you will see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of the power, and coming on the clouds of the sky.
⁶⁵The high priest then tore his clothes and said, Look, he is blaspheming; why do we need witnesses? Look, now you have heard his blasphemy.
⁶⁶What else do you want? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.
⁶⁷Then they spat in his face, and struck him on his head, and others beat him,
⁶⁸saying, Prophesy to us, Messiah, who struck you?

42 Mark 14:53-65
⁵³And they took Jesus to Caiaphas the high priest; and there, gathered to him all the high priests and the scribes and the elders.
⁵⁴But Simon followed him from far away, up to the courtyard of the high priest; and he sat with the servants, warming himself before the fire.
⁵⁵The high priests and the whole council were seeking testimony against Jesus, so that they might put him to death; but they could not find it.
⁵⁶For even though many testified against him, their testimony was not worthy.
⁵⁷Then some men who were false witnesses, stood up against him and said,
⁵⁸We heard him say, I will tear down this temple which is made with hands, and in 3 days, I will build another which is not made with hands.
⁵⁹But even this testimony was not worthy.
⁶⁰Then the high priest stood up in the middle, and asked Jesus saying, Do you not answer? What do these men testify against you?
⁶¹But Jesus was silent, and made no answer. Again the high priest asked him saying, Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?
⁶²Jesus said to him, I am; and you will see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming on the clouds of the sky.
⁶³Then the high priest tore his robe, and said, Why do we need witnesses?
⁶⁴Look, you have heard blasphemy from his own mouth; what do you think? And they all decided that he was guilty of death.
⁶⁵Then some of the men began to spit in his face, and they covered his face and struck him on his head saying, Prophesy; and the soldiers struck him on his cheeks.

40 John 18:25
²⁵Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said to him, What! Are you also one of his disciples? He denied and said, I am not.

41 Matthew 26:69-70
⁶⁹Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard; and a female servant came and said to him, You were also with Jesus the Nazarene.
⁷⁰But he denied it before all of them, and said, I do not understand what you are saying.

⁶⁶And when Simon was below in the courtyard, a young female servant of the high priest came;
⁶⁷and she saw him warming himself, and looked at him, and said to him, You were also with Jesus the Nazarene.

43 Luke 22:54-58
⁵⁴And they arrested him and brought him to the house of the high priest. And Simon followed him from far away.
⁵⁵And they kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard, and sat around it; and Simon also sat among them.
⁵⁶And a young woman saw him sitting by the fire, and she looked at him and said, This man also was with him.
⁵⁷But he denied saying, Woman, I do not know him.
⁵⁸And after a little while, another saw him and said to him, You are also one of them. But Peter said, I am not.

⁷¹And as he was going to the porch, another one saw him, and she said to them, This man was also there with Jesus the Nazarene.
⁷²Again, he denied it with oaths, I do not know the man.

42 Mark 14:68-69
⁶⁸But he denied it and said, I do not understand what you are saying. Then he went out to the porch, and the rooster crowed.
⁶⁹And the same young maid saw him, and began to say to those who stood by, This one is also one of them.
