¹I will bless Yahvah at all times; his praises will continually be in my mouth.
²My soul will make its boast in Yahvah; let the humble hear and be glad.
³Magnify Yahvah with me, and let us exalt his name together.

⁴I sought Yahvah, and he heard and delivered me from all my troubles.
⁵Look towards him and trust in him, and you will not be disappointed.
⁶This poor man called on him, and he heard him and saved him from all his troubles.
⁷The host of angels of Yahvah encamps around those who worship him, and delivers them.

⁸Taste and see that Yahvah is good; blessed is the man that trusts in him.
⁹The rich have become poor and suffer hunger;
¹⁰those who seek Yahvah will not lack any good thing.

¹¹Come, you sons, listen to me, and I will teach you reverence for Yahvah.
¹²Where is the man who does not desire life and many days, that he may see the good time to come?
¹³Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking guile.
¹⁴Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

¹⁵The eyes of Yahvah are on the righteous, and his ears are open to hear them.
¹⁶The face of Yahvah is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the land.
¹⁷The righteous cried, and Yahvah hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
¹⁸Yahvah is near those who are brokenhearted, and he saves those who are humble in spirit.

¹⁹Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but Yahvah delivers him out of them all.
²⁰He keeps all his bones, not one of them is broken.
²¹Evil will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be destroyed.
²²Yahvah redeems the soul of his servants, and not one of those who trust in him will be condemned.
